Our Mission

November 15, 2017

Le Petit Lapin Boutique may just be a small beauty studio in a small town, but it has big dreams.

Our mission is simple; We WILL make a difference.

First, we'll start with our boutique: we want every woman (customer AND team member) who walks through our door to feel beautiful, empowered, important, and of great value. We will accomplish this by providing a comfortable and cozy environment to be pampered in, to relax, to talk, make friends, and to enjoy.

We make a serious effort to work as a team and provide an encouraging and uplifting atmosphere for our hard-working women. We want to encourage everyone to learn, develop, and grow!

Second, we'll work with our community: we love to support local businesses! At this time we carry gorgeous hand-made jewelry from a company in Vancouver BC, called Statement Grey. This company is sure to impress, with their attention to detail and stunning french-inspired pieces!

Wrinkle & Crease is another Canadian company that hand-makes and presses gift cards. We are in love with their mini note cards, perfect for any occasion! We admire that the owner takes the time to lovingly create each of these precious cards by hand, one at a time.

We are always on the look out for local artists and aspiring entrepreneurs to feature and support!

Our very own logo and marketing materials were put together by a local graphic designer, Nicola Hestnes (nicolahestnescreative.ca).

Thirdly, we will make an impact in the lives of others (it may be small, but it will be there). Starting this Christmas season, we are excited to contribute to The Shoebox Project! "The Shoebox Project for Shelters collects and distributes gifts in the form of Shoeboxes to women who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness in communities across Canada and in the US". We are currently putting together our shoeboxes from Le Petit Lapin Boutique, and encourage everyone to join in!

Go to www.shoeboxproject.com to help!

We've also recently become involved with Plan International and "Because I am a girl", an organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls around the world.

Go to www.plancanada.ca to see what it's all about!

There are so many ways to give back, one more way that we are excited about, is supplying jewelry from The Giving Keys. This "pay if forward" company has developed a "social impact employment model where, every product you purchase supports job creation for people transitioning out of homelessness."

See www.thegivingkeys.com for more info!

We realize that our impact through these sources is small, but we're passionate about making a difference no matter how small it is.

To sum it all up, we're not just a beauty boutique, we're a beauty boutique on a mission. If you'd like to support any of the organizations listed above, feel free to give us a call or check out their websites!

At Le Petit Lapin Boutique, we promise to use our success for good. So, you can rest assured that when you support us, we will be supporting someone else too.

Stop in anytime, we'd love to meet you!

Thanks for reading <3
